Mr. Jason Ladd has been involved in the martial arts his entire life. He has had very rare opportunities to learn and train with truly remarkable people of various systems of martial arts. All of these experiences serve to deepen and broaden the art very near to his heart -- TANG SOO DO! Mr. Ladd has experience in Shotokan, Okinwan Kempo, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do (ITF & WTF), Hapkido, KumDo (Sim Do Kwan), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Pressure Point fighting.

He has competed successfully at the local, regional, national and international levels, and has won state champion titles in sparring and traditional Korean forms (Martial Arts Tournament Tour). He has also finished in the top 5 in the world (NBL, SKI) in traditional Korean forms and breaking.

Mr. Ladd currently serves as Vice President of the International Tang Soo Do Alliance, which is a fraternal organization of Tang Soo Do Dan (Black Belt) ranks. This is a democratically elected position voted on by Tang Soo Do Instructors throughout the country. He serves as a mentor to Tang Soo Do Dans/Instructors seeking advancing Dan Rank from the International Tang Soo Do Alliance.

Furthermore, he has experience in public education. He has worked with the physical education department at Piedmont Community College, and served for three years as a teaching assistant (instructional and crisis intervention) with the Wake County Public School System in Special Education (Longview Alternative School). In addition to his many years of martial arts instructional experience, he is a parent and full time Tang Soo Do Instructor!

Mr. Ladd is available for seminars. Past topics include Women's Self Defense, Tang Soo Do Hyung (Interpretation, History, etc), Breaking, and Competition Coaching.
